Late Dattatraya Pusadkar Shikshan Sanstha, Amravati, the foundation society of Late Dattatraya Pusadkar Arts College, Nandgaon peth is an organization aimed at the social cultural development of the region.
Dattatraya Pusadkar was an young promising social worker, who lost his life in an accident on 8 th Jan. 1988. The college has been named after him to commemorate his services to the people of this region. Nandgaon peth a small village with a population of 25000 is situated at a distance of 15 k.m. north east to Amravati city. The Village has three high school, two junior colleges and a residential school exclusively for the children from the tribal area of the district. That results and excellent flow of admission to the institution. The college is a well managed institution with many outstanding features.
The college has its meritorious tradition since 2002. It has an active sports activity secured first and second places in Kho-Kho & seven teaching departments and facilitating with updated Gymkhana, computer lab, career counseling center, and adequate knowledge resource center. The college has four research centers in the subject of History, Sociology, Marathi and Home economics. The various activities and taken by the subject departments for developing students personality throughout a year. Keeping an eye on the overall development of the students the colleges also complete its responsibility serving the community at large.
We feel proud in the development of the college imparting higher education to the students in muficiled area. It results that the college has been accredited with 'B' grade by NAAC and now we are facing 2nd cycles for NAAC accreditation with the continuous efforts of the staff and kind support of the management.
